Chad Brinkman, PT, DPT, OCS

Chad earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University and began his career in outpatient orthopedics in Denver, Colorado. He developed a focus on treating people with long-standing pain after multiple unsuccessful interventions, which led him to study regional interdependence and chronic pain science. He earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2020.

Chad has served as a clinical instructor for DPT students and a mentor for OCS residents. He currently serves as Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor of Practice in the University of Arizona’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where he focuses on developing students’ critical thinking and lifelong learning through guided, reflective teaching.
