Jacob Serr, PTA

Jacob “Jake” Serr is a Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in the treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions. A Tucson native, Jake attended The University of Arizona where he received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. During his time at The University of Arizona, Jake not only earned his degree but also showcased his passion for music as an active member in The Pride of Arizona Marching Band and Pep Band. Jake began his career in physical therapy shortly after graduating, working as a physical therapy technician for a number of years before completing his PTA training at Pima Medical Institute. As a PTA, Jake likes to utilize various manual techniques, including Cupping, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Mobilization with Movement, in conjunction with facilitating functional movement patterns to reduce pain and improve function. Jake is a firm believer that Physical Therapy is a group effort and emphasizes collaboration with each patient in crafting individualized exercise programs that will set patients up for success in reaching their treatment goals.
