Sol Physical Therapy Now Accepts AHCCCS UHC Community Plan & UHC Dual Complete

We’re happy to share important news for patients and families in our community:

Sol Physical Therapy is now in-network with AHCCCS UHC Community Plan and UHC Dual Complete.

Both plans are AHCCCS health plans administered by UnitedHealthcare, with UHC Community Plan covering Medicaid patients and UHC Dual Complete covering Medicare + Medicaid dual-eligible patients. This ensures that families and adults in Tucson can access physical therapy with coverage you can rely on.

If you or your child are covered by AHCCCS and have been looking for physical therapy options that are both accessible and high-quality, we’re here to help.

Who This Coverage Helps

Parents of Children Needing Physical Therapy

Finding pediatric physical therapy that accepts AHCCCS can be challenging, especially when your child needs care sooner rather than later.

This update is especially helpful for families whose children have been referred for:

  • Pediatric physical therapy

  • Developmental or movement-related concerns

  • Balance, coordination, or strength issues

  • Post-injury or post-surgical rehabilitation

  • Support returning to sports or everyday activities

At Sol Physical Therapy, children receive one-on-one care in a supportive, welcoming environment designed to help them feel comfortable and confident throughout the therapy process.

Adults Covered by AHCCCS UHC Community Plan & UHC Dual Complete

We also work with adults who are covered by AHCCCS UHC Community Plan or UHC Dual Complete and need physical therapy for:

  • Orthopedic injuries

  • Joint, muscle, or mobility issues

  • Post-surgical recovery

  • Chronic pain

  • Balance or fall-prevention concerns

If physical therapy was previously delayed due to insurance coverage, this change makes it easier to get started.

Why This Matters

Insurance coverage plays a major role in whether patients are able to begin and continue physical therapy.

By accepting AHCCCS UHC Community Plan and UHC Dual Complete, Sol Physical Therapy is helping remove barriers to care and making it easier for patients to:

  • Schedule appointments without insurance uncertainty

  • Stay consistent with their plan of care

  • Receive treatment close to home

  • Work directly with licensed physical therapists

Our goal is to make quality physical therapy accessible to more people in our community.
