Sydney Weseman, PTA

Sydney grew up in the small town of Brighton, Illinois, and attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale as a two-year student-athlete. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's in English and a minor in Women's Studies. In 2021, she returned to school to earn an Occupational Associate's degree in PTA from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson.

Sydney has treated a variety of patients with diagnoses such as Parkinson's, Myasthenia Gravis, MS, TBI, stroke, vertigo/BPPV, and cardiovascular events, and is adept at treating athletes, teens, younger children, runners, and the geriatric population. Her passion for physical therapy started at a young age, as her mom is also a PTA with 40+ years of experience.

Sydney takes a multi-focal approach to rehabilitation and always puts her patients’ needs first. Her main goals are helping patients return to their prior level of function, educating them on what their bodies are going through to maintain progress, and emphasizing postural stability in all activities.

Sydney is fluent in Spanish, and outside of work enjoys spending time with her spouse, two sons, and dog. A St. Louis Cardinals fanatic, she also enjoys watching the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Blues. Her hobbies include cycling, gardening, and staying active.
